| The Mdu Probes are installed based on the details of a building - not only areas that are showing leaking. Mdu Probes are installed close to the areas and details most likely to leak - based on industry experience. High Risk areas are defined from a number of sources: (a) the BRANZ Weathertightness Identification of risk poster (see below), (b) MDC database analysis results and (c) issues raised by those involved in the construction and investigation of the house.
